The classics are always fun

Whenever we go visit my mom, she has taken the time to dig up some of my old baby clothes and toys for Peanut. Its a nice way for us to recall my childhood - what I was doing when I wore the little woolen dress or poncho from Spain, how I used to carry the teddy bear around with me everywhere and other memories attached to the clothes & toys.

Here are some photos of what Peanut played with last time - anyone remember these?!

It's great that your mom has saved these treasures! Hope Peanut enjoys playing with them :-)

I still have my favourite teddy bear (thirtysomething years old), and hope that our little one will learn to love it as much as I did.

Peanut does have a good time with the toys - even if they don't blink, beep, sing or make animal sounds like many of today's toys :-)

She's also recently found my childhood friend, Ressu, a stuffed dog, now without eyes, nose, mouth or even his collar. Poor Ressu had also evidently been 'operated' on earlier in his life and now Peanut expertly digs out little pieces of his insides and sprinkles them around the house.
